How to close online dating accounts after a loved one passes
All online dating accounts have features that allow you to delete the account when someone passes away. Here are options for deleting an account from each platform:

Three are three ways to cancel the account:
1) Log into their Facebook account and delete it, or,
2) Click on the App, go to application settings, and click “Delete account,” or,

1) If you have access to the account on desktop: You can delete the account from the settings page where it says “Need a Break?” on the bottom of the page
2) If you have access to the account on mobile: Tap on the profile, then on Account Settings, and then on Disable your account. Follow the prompts from there.

1) If you have access to the account on desktop:
Click the thumbnail of your Profile Photo in the upper right corner of your Profile Page.
Select Account Settings.
Click on Profile Display Settings.
Click on the Permanently Delete Profile button.
2) If you have access to the account on mobile:
Click on the 3 bars in the corner that take you to your account menu.
Tap on Profile Display Settings.
Tap on Permanently Delete Profile.

Go to the App Setting page on Facebook
Remove Hinge from the list of apps authorized to access your loved one’s Facebook account
2) If you have access to the account on mobile:
Open the Facebook app and tap “More” in the bottom right hand corner.
Go to “Settings,” and then “Account Settings.”
Scroll down and go to “Apps."
Go to “Logged in on Facebook.”
Go to ”Hinge,” and then hit “Remove app” at the very bottom of the screen

Tap on the Grindr profile
Select the Settings ⚙ icon on the top-right corner
Tap on Deactivate
Select "Delete Account"
Tap a reason for account deletion
Verify the account
Select Delete Profile
2) If you have access to the account on iOS:
Tap on the Grindr Profile
Select the Settings ⚙ icon on the top-right corner
Scroll to the bottom of the menu
Tap on Delete Profile

In the body of the email, ask for all the personal information about your loved one to be deleted.
