Notify pension and change beneficiary

If the deceased had a pension, survivors may be entitled to monthly or lump sum payments. The plan may also make a payment if the death occurred before the deceased drew from their pension.

The easiest way to find out about this is to contact the deceased's former employer or the organization managing their pension plan. To do this, contact the deceased’s former employer or the number on their pension plan.
