How to close an eBay account after a loved one passes
1) If you can log in to their account:
Select the name in the upper left-hand corner.
Click Account Settings.
Click the Account tab.
Click Close my Account.
Scroll down and click request to close the account.
Select a reason for closing the account.
Click Continue.
Click Confirm.
3) If you can’t log in and do not have access to their email or phone number:
You can call eBay at 866-540-3229.
They will remove the billing information on their behalf.
You will need their username, email address, and physical address on file.
